We took a relatively short 2 mile hike to the base of Tamanawaus Falls (c. 3500 ft) which you can see above the pussy willows behind us in this photo. It drops unhindered about 60 feet into a punch bowl on the eastern slopes of Mt. Hood (11,200 ft). Along the trail we saw a Western red cedar tree with bear markings about 5 - 6 ft up the trunk.

Yeah, well, he was into the bandana thing for about a week. Normally, he wore the Univ of Oregon Beavers (orange) cap. I think the only time he uses the bandana now is when he's paintballing. --Richard
