I heard segments of Gregorio Allegri's Miserere last night on National Public Radio, NPR Music: Choral Music for Palm Sunday: 'Miserere'. Written in 1638, Allegri puts to choral music the words of King David's Psalm 51. What I heard was beautiful, so I just purchased it online (iTunes Music Store).
