Micah Has Joined Us

Sunday morning, March 2, 2008, c. 6:30 AM PT, Micah Halder Kessler joined the extended Price family. Mary Beth's labor was only about 4 hours and mother and child are doing well.




Micah was 8 pounds, 7 ounces and 21 inches long.
This is right about the size that Mary Beth and Jonathan were when they were born. But Micah has a shock of black hair, like Ben his dad (Mary Beth's head was like a honey dew melon for months).

Micah's middle name, Halder, was chosen after Ben's maternal granddad who died in Fall 2006.

And as our good friend Jo Beth observed, even though he was not born in Texas, "Micah chose Sam Houston's birthday and Texas Independence Day for his arrival."
