In April, Anne and I attended a fund raiser for one of our affiliated orphan programs. It was a "black tie" benefit at a very nice hotel in Frisco, TX, just north of Dallas. The agency paid for all of our expenses, so it was a very nice couple of nights out. The silent and live auction raised $40k after expenses. I was pretty impressed, though this was certainly not the kind of folks I normally (ha, ever !) hang out with. Aside from a couple of African safaris, the highest auction items were evenings with a famed local chef for a party of 6 people. I think this was the first time in 25+ years that I've worn a tux.

So, how much did you bid on the African Safari?
You both look great. Need to put this on FaceBook.
