The Gulf is pounding over the seawall in Galveston even before the really good winds and surge arrive. The truck in this picture is driving along Seawall Boulevard which runs atop the 15 foot seawall itself.

We've been watching weather for a lot of the day. We saw Murdochs on the island where we were recently with the family. It should be gone in a few hours. Glad you're outa there.
