Vote Predictor, 2008

I ran across this site in the 2004 presidential election, Electoral-vote.com, and it's being revived here in 2008. It provides an interesting way to keep track how voters are expected to line up in the November presidential election. I'm not sure about the methodology, but it accounts for all the polls for the elections and indicates which states are leaning strongly, weakly or barely toward the Republican or Democratic Party candidates.

Be sure to check out the cartogram link. I'm not sure what to make of the shape of things. But maybe the rest of us don't like the dominance of the Northeast. And I wonder how living in crowded conditions correlates with a preference for the Democratic Party.
