Ike Rainfall

I haven't mentioned much about the rainfall from Hurricane Ike. Though it was a significant amount, it wasn't enough to cause flooding into homes. In the image to the right, our house is about where the arrow is pointing. The rain gauges are along the creeks that drain our flat terrain. These amounts, roughly 9" - 11", did fill the creeks and, in a couple of places, spill over onto nearby streets, causing only minor problems.
